Specifications:
The picture is a prototype of the upcoming Folding Persian Boot Knife. There will be a series of six knives, serialized, with both Rob Davidson's "rocket" logo and Best blade's double B encased in a C logo. Materials will vary for the knives to include; titanium bolsters, Micarta handle slabs/inserts, carbon fiber slab/inserts. In addition, there will be boot sheath for inside the boot carry to remain true to the knife's origins as a fixed blade boot knife design. The sheath will allow for the blade to be deployed (locked out) for instant blade access after the knife has been drawn. There will also be titanium pocket clips for carry in pocket with the blade closed. We'll be taking early orders for the 6 serialized knives on 02 January 2005. It will require a 10% deposit for securing your holding of one of the six knives. Anticipated configurations are as follows:
Ti bolster, green Micarta handle
Ti bolster, maroon Micarta handle
Ti bolster, carbon fiber handle
Ti bolster, Black G-10 handle
Ti bolster, Blue G-10 handle
Ti bolster (gold anodized), white linen Micarta handle and damascus blade
Prices: $425-525 with sheathing option.
These configurations are still TBD and are at the option of the customer, who can change them as they see fit.
